BOSTON HOSPITALITY : Illustrations

Three Illustrations sets for Bar Loyall, Bar Fellini, and Matria. Designed at Post Company.

BAR LOYALL

The illustrations for Bar Loyall are rooted in the historic tradition of the Ex Libris bookplate. Once simple marks of ownership, these emblems evolved into intricate works of art. The illustrations reference the stories of the historic Loyall Nine, a group of early American patriots and rebels. Hidden motifs rest within each piece of the illustration.

FELLINI

This illustration suite was developed for a restaurant and bar inspired by the imaginative world of filmmaker Federico Fellini. Drawing from the surreal charm and theatrical spirit of his films, we created a cast of characters and objects to populate the brand’s visual language. The resulting illustrations feel cheerful, slightly mysterious, and full of personality.

MATRIA : Illustrations

This illustration suite was developed for Matria, a regional Italian restaurant grounded in family heritage and the traditions of Piedmont. The work imagines a deep lineage connected to land, ingredients, and regional culture. Tile-inspired motifs reference architectural patterns and symbolic imagery from Northern Italy, evoking a sense of legacy and place.
